The REACT SSA Kenya is part of the larger REACT SSA Programme which provides financing and technical assistance to innovative renewable energy businesses/ business ideas across sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Due to the relatively advanced renewable energy market in Kenya, compared to other SSA countries, REACT SSA Kenya will be implemented as a Results-Based Financing (RBF) programme providing financial incentives to selected companies upon delivery and verification of results. This programme aims to support commercially viable companies and markets, and transformational business models adapt to target markets in order to accelerate access to low cost, clean energy.
The AECF plans to implement a data management system which will manage the verification process for the REACT SSA Kenya, RBF programme. In this regard, the AECF seeks a software developer to design and provide maintenance services for a web-based platform to support the operationalisation of results-based financing reporting and verification.
