The AECF measures its contribution to improving the lives of the poor primarily through increased income and wages from new jobs, supported by other sector-specific metrics. Our investees benefit from the high incomes generated or cost savings for smallholder farmers and other individuals from the products that they supply or the goods they buy. Moving forward, The AECF is becoming more inclusive to reflect the increasing importance of the social impacts of its work and the priorities established by the Sustainable Development Goals on gender equality, decent work and the environment.
